Kid's Clinic Basketball Game Performance
The Diamonds Kid's Clinic participants will perform at half-time of the Gator Varsity Basketball game on 1/26/10, the game starts at 7:00 pm. Cost for spectators is $4.00, $2.00 for student spectators.

Thursday - 4/15/10 - SENIOR parents work
Friday - 4/16/10 - JUNIOR parents work
Saturday - 4/17/10 - SOPHOMORE parents work
Please mark your calendars, we need all parents to work their designated nights. Please remember you will not get to watch the Show on the night you work. You will have to buy a ticket for one of the other performances.

Did you know:
The saying "BREAK A LEG" dates back to Shakespeare's time.
Telling some one to "BREAK A LEG" before performing started because it is considered bad luck to say good luck to performers before they go on.
Back then, rather than receiving tips directly from the company or theatre, tipping was left to the audience. During the final bows or curtain call, audiences would throw money, usually coins, onto the stage depending on how well they enjoyed the performance. In some bad performances they would throw rotten vegetables, but in the good cases, money. Actors would then 'take a knee', effectively breaking their leg line, on stage and pick up the money. As a result, when a person wishes someone to 'break a leg' it refers to wishing them success in their performance so in the end they would have to kneel down and collect a welcome tip.
