Kid's Clinic has been rescheduled for January, 23, 2010.

San Antonio Contest - CANCELLED

The Diamonds are no longer going to the San Antonio contest, parents need to call the hotel and cancel their reservations.

The Diamonds will now be attending a Contest on February 26 -27, 2010 at Clear Springs HS.

The Diamonds will travel by Charter Bus. We will leave from the school EARLY on Friday, February 19, 2010. Parents may follow the bus or come up at their leisure.

1st Playoff Game - 11/14/09

DHS advances to football playoffs;
Gators will play Fort Bend Willowridge
at 2 p.m. Saturday at Pearland ISD stadium

The Dickinson High School varsity football team will enter the playoff season this coming weekend competing against Fort Bend Willowridge High School at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 14 at the Pearland ISD district stadium, "The Rig," located at 3775 S. Main on the Pearland High School campus. DHS will play as the home team.

Tickets are available all this week at the DHS Field House from 8 a.m.-3 p.m. through Friday, Nov. 13. Pre-game tickets are $4 for students and $6 for adults. All tickets bought at the gate on Saturday in Pearland are $7.

The DHS Cheerleaders are encouraging everyone to wear their Gator blue to the game for the players to see all blue as they enter this first round of playoffs.

A HUGE THANK YOU to all the volunteers who attended the Homecoming Dance Saturday night. From what we observed this was the best one yet!

Socials - you did an AWESOME job planning the Dance. The decorations were beautiful. Another HUGE THANK YOU to the Diamonds in Training, New-News, Diamonds and Parents that showed up to help decorate and set up Saturday morning!!

WEDNESDAY - PARADE & Pep Rally
No practice after school. PARADE - meet in parking lot of Village Pizza by 4:45 pm. Get a car buddy!!!

Parade info-Wear the Diamond Rain Uniform! Diamond shirt,black leotard,black jazz pants, boots and hat, with poms. Wear hair half up, half down. Make up - Red Lips required. Bling will need jazz shoes at the stadium.

Diamonds Car Wash Money DUE TODAY - 9/8/09

Every Diamond has to pre-sell 10 car wash tickets. The money has to be turned into Mrs. Mills or Mrs. Hill, by Tuesday, 9/8/09.

Car Wash at Amegy Bank - Saturday - 9/12/09

Each Diamond will need to volunteer to bring something to the Car Wash. They will have a sign up sheet this week.

Spirit Ribbon Sales

We are currently selling the Spirit Ribbons at the High School on Thursdays and Fridays. Every week is a different ribbon. We also have the big Homecoming Ribbon, that lists the Rosters for the Diamonds, Varisty Football and Cheer.


Each Diamond needs to buy one ribbon a week, they will get a merit for each ribbon they buy. Ribbons are $1.00 each, Buttons $1.00 each, the Homecoming Ribbons are $5.00 each.


Wadene West is the Spirit Ribbon Chairperson - she will handle cooridinating Ribbon Sales. We do need one volunteer each day to help Wadene. If you would like to volunteer please email Lisa Douglas.

We will be accepting applications through our next Booster Meeting on September 15, 2009.

Remember, if you want to have a vote on how the Booster Club is run, you have to be a paid member in good standing.

$20.00 for new members or if you are a previous member that needs to rejoin and get another window decal.

Ribbon Sales during the game usually go until about 15 - 20 minutes into the first quarter, unless there are quite a few of this weeks' ribbons left. We need to sell as many as possible.
