Miscellaneous Updates

CONGRATULATIONS to the Diamonds and Diamonds in the Rough, on all their GREAT performances at the Crowd Pleasers Contest!!! If anyone has a list of the awards the girls won, please send it to me so I can put it on the web-site and facebook. I sat with all the girls' stuff during awards so I have no clue what we got.

IMPORTANT MEETING TUESDAY, 3/9/10 - 7:00 PM - DHS CAFETERIA - this is our MAJOR preparation meeting for Spring Show. WE NEED everyone there, even if you did not sign up for the Spring Show Committee. Remember EACH Diamond has to have ONE person work Spring Show for them.

BUTTER BRAID ORDERS - will be available for pick up , 3/9/10, at the meeting. All orders have to be picked up Tuesday night by 8:00 PM. We do not have freezers to store them in overnight.

SPRING SHOW PROGRAM ADS - March 9, at the meeting will be the last chance to turn in ads.

BANQUET - Don't forget to mark your calendar for the Diamonds' Banquet - May 21, 2010 at the Doyle Convention Center in Texas City. More details will be sent out soon.

NEXT YEAR'S PARENT T-SHIRTS - If anyone has any ideas for the artwork for next year's parent t-shirt, please send them to me....I would like to have a few ideas, send them out to the parents and take a vote on next year's design. Please send me your ideas by 4/15/10. I would like to have the design picked out by the end of this school year.

All Diamonds need to be at Clear Springs High School by 8:00 AM. We will be watching our SOCO, solists, duets, etc, AS A TEAM!! Diamonds in the Rough need to report to Clear Springs High School by 5:30 PM!!!! Awards will be at 9:00 PM Saturday night. All Diamonds/Diamonds in the Rough must be there unless approved by Mrs. Mills in advance. You will be dissmissed after awards.

Spectator Fee - $10 - Adults, $5 Sr Citizens, $5 Children (ages 5-12), Children under 5 are free.

NO OUTSIDE FOOD OR DRINK ALLOWED!!!

Contest Show Off

The Diamonds are going to run through a Dress Rehearsal of the team dances they are performig at contest this weekend. Come see what they have been working so hard on.

Tuesday, 2/23/10 - 6:00 pm, DHS Auditorium.

Diamonds report at 5:30 pm

REMINDER - GARMENT BAGS DUE

Please do not forget ALL DIAMONDS need to bring a garment bag, with her name on it, NO LATER THAN Friday, 2/27/10.

Contest next Saturday, 2/27/10 at Clear Springs HS. Memos were passed out to each Diamond this week. More details will be posted next week.
